I've always been a creative, obsessed with fashion, styling, interior design and of course photography!
I started as a hair colorist.
(cue the dramatic music and stage lights... I was going to work in beverly hills at the Jose Eber salon and be a "stylist to the stars") Yep, I had a very specific plan :) but after having my second child, I decided I was going to stay home and not return to the salon... well that took a turn didn't it! LOL
As time passed, I felt I was missing the connection and creativity I so craved and I started taking classes, learning everything I could taking a bazillion pictures of my growing family and friends, eventually turning that creative passion into a photography business. After years of taking primarily family and newborn portraits, I had an "AHA MOMENT" I felt most alive when I was working with TEENS. It brought me full circle back to my "WHY", I was making a difference helping to EMPOWER these young ladies and bring out a new found CONFIDENCE just as I had been doing with the women sitting in my salon chair.
When someone FEELS confident and amazing on the outside, their inner beauty radiates and its undeniable! I really am changing lives here people... but seriously, going through the teen years with my kids has also made me realize how very important it is to help them feel IMPORTANT, EMPOWERED and give them a sense of CONNECTION and BELONGING.
